Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve

GATEWAY CITY

About Us

We are the local Fellowship of Orthodox Christian's United to Serve (FOCUS) Community in St. Louis, MO

FOCUS Gateway City is on the near south side of downtown St. Louis. We are proud to face the needs of our neighbors by distributing food, clothing, and warm meals on Sundays and Wednesdays throughout the month.

We seek to provide Orthodox Christians with opportunities to shine forth the love of Christ through volunteering at the Center, in McKinley Heights and in surrounding neighborhoods.

Our goal is to be a community where any person in need can find rest for their souls and resources to help meet their needs.

Apostles Community Kitchen

The Apostle’s Community Kitchen serves warm meals to those in need on Sundays from 4:30-5:30 PM on the 2nd through 21st of each month.

On the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, the Kitchen opens its doors as a food pantry serving shelf-stable foods: pasta and sauce; canned vegetables, fruits, beans, meat, fish, and soups; and cereal and other breakfast foods. Fresh and frozen food will be served as it is donated. The Kitchen also provides hygiene items: toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, razors, and feminine products. The pantry is open from 9-11 AM.

Please check our calendar for dates and times that we will be open. You can also follow us on Facebook.
